AI-assisted, human-reviewed
AI-assisted, human-reviewed — nothing lands in your CV without your approval.
Last updated: July 2026
Meritvo uses AI to help you write a stronger CV. This page explains exactly what our trust promise covers — and, just as importantly, what it does not.
What we guarantee: the workflow
Our AI never edits your CV on its own. Every suggestion it generates — a rewritten bullet, a summary, a new phrasing — is placed in your Suggestions review queue with a status of pending. Nothing is written to your CV until you open that queue, read the suggestion in context, and explicitly approve it. If you reject it, or simply never approve it, your CV is unchanged.
AI proposes
The AI drafts content based on your masterdata and the job you are targeting.
You review
Each proposal waits in your Suggestions queue until you look at it.
You approve
Only what you explicitly approve is applied to your CV.
What we do not guarantee: the facts
This promise is about the workflow, not the truth of your content. We do not fact-check your CV, verify your employment history, or certify that any claim is accurate. "Human-reviewed" means you reviewed and approved the AI's suggestions — it does not mean anyone verified that the underlying facts are correct. You remain fully responsible for the accuracy of everything you approve and publish.
The optional trust line on shared CVs
You can turn on a small footer line on your publicly shared CV that states this promise. It is off by default and only appears if you enable it. It describes the same workflow guarantee — that you reviewed and approved the AI's suggestions — and makes no claim about the accuracy of your content.
